The Olde Shop B&B is on the edge of the village of Bishops Frome and is within easy reach of the cities of Hereford and Worcester, the towns of Bromyard, Ledbury and Malvern.
Bishops Frome itself boasts two public houses, The Chase Inn and The Green Dragon, the latter being awarded CAMRA Herefordshire country pub of the year 2006. Both pubs are a short walk from The Olde Shop and both serve food.
The village also has a post office and shop, village centre, Norman church, local vineyard and the very popular Hop pocket craft centre.
The area is known as the Frome Valley with hop-growing, cider orchards, cattle and sheep farming in abundance around here, with the changing of the seasons bringing lambs in the field, apple blossom and hops to the top of their strings.
Adjacent to Ther Olde Shop is a football and cricket pitch where local teams play regularly.
